This weekend just past saw me head to Perth for my first round of seminars for 2011. On Saturday morning, my good friend Steve Stevenson picked me up and took me to Manfred Bohmuller’s school in Victoria Park, where a dedicated group of students have been training with me for the past 12 years or so.
It was a wonderful start to the year to be able to present Manfred with his BJJ Black Belt. Manfred is such a dedicated martial artist, and one who brings a broad skill-set to the table. Manfred, in my humble opinion, is the complete package; he has all the qualities of a great instructor and he lives his life in total congruence with his martial arts practise. Congratulations Manfred, what a privilege for me to be able to bring you through to this important milestone in your martial arts journey. Well done indeed.
