New Black Belt Tom Davey
A milestone hit in South Australia …
Chatting to Professor Carlos Machado a few days ago, the decision was an easy one to make, the time had come for Mr Tom Davey to be presented with his Black Belt.
And so Carlos made the quick trip down from Sydney, as he had made the journey out from Texas to preside over the Grand Opening of Anthony Perosh’s new Academy, and made the presentation.
Congratulations to Tom on hitting this wonderful milestone. Tom has done a lot of work in building and strengthening our network and extended family in South Australia - he is a real credit to his family - and we are all proud of his efforts.

Rigan Machado Seminars
A few choice pics of Professor Rigan Machado spending time on the mats in Melbourne, Perth and Auckland during his recent visit down-under.
Students and coaches alike were well aware that they were a part of a larger legacy ... and the opportunity of the present would no doubt be looked back upon as a part of history in the future.
The impact the Machado Brothers have made upon the world BJJ landscape is at once both deep and lasting.
Bigger and even better plans are already being made for next year.
